Deepti Bhavn, Kansa

Deepti Bhavan convent was started in a remote village of Kansa as a support station of Durg on 21st June, 1983 in the diocese of Raipur with four members. Sisters were engaged in healing ministry, family apostolate and evangelization. In the recent years due to lack of patients the dispensary was closed down and there opened a nursery school in the dispensary building for the local children. At the request of the people of the locality the nursery school is upgraded as a primary school and a school building was constructed for the same. The pioneers of this community were Sr. Antonitta, Sr. Rose Clare, Sr. Reena Mary and Sr. Susy Maria.
