Assisi Convent, Nidamanuru

Assisi Convent was started on 22nd March, 1990 in the diocese of Vijayawada and the Regional house from Avuttapilly was shifted to here. The new Regional house cum Formation house was inaugurated in 1992.  The region was raised to a vice-province on 8th  February 1994 aAnd the vice-province was raised to the status of province on 8th  December 1997. When a new Provincial house was constructed in 2011, this house became an independent convent cum formation house. In the year 2016, Assisi prayer centre was inaugurated and it is opened to outsiders to pray here in the afternoon and evening hours. Sisters also join with them for prayer and adoration.

The Present Apostolates are:-

i. Formation House

ii. Perpetual Adoration

iii. Pastoral Work, Social Work and family visits

iv. Proclamation, prayer and worship with people of the locality
